Subaru Tribeca Crash Test Video

Recently we posted the Holden Barina Crash test video, whilst many couldn’t believe just how bad the “Australian Holden” performed.

It came at no surprise to us. So this is the Subaru Tribeca, which got a five-star safety rating. Notice the minimal damage to the cabin.

All frontal tests are conducted at 64km/hr.

Wow, that is impressive. The Tribeca might be ugly, but its at least safe!

It shows how the Barina has just 2 crumple zones.

    1) The bonnet
    2) Your face

Question is, how does the Captiva compare to the Tribeca?

Safety is something at Subaru that is getting better, even when styling isn’t. I’d still wait for the updated version coming out next year or get a Mazda CX-9

Safety has always been one of Subaru’s strong points. Every single Subaru model has 5-stars except the Impreza, which has 4-stars, the same as the Holden Commodore’s 4-stars.
