More details emerge on “The Extreme Bentley”

By Karl Peskett |

It doesn’t take long with the ‘net. A teaser video has just been released, giving various clues as to the drivetrain and shape of Bentley’s new flex-fuel monster.

Bentley’s teaser pic from yesterday gave little away, except for the fact that the new car will be a Continental based platform. But a quick scan through the video and you can detect that it is indeed an iteration of the Continental GT. A view of the motor also shows that it won’t be the W16 from Bugatti, but will be the traditional W12 twin turbo.

Bonnet vents and a darker grille round out the exterior treatments. Bentley has also published a website for its new car. Click here to check it out.

I bet it is double the price of the might HSV W427! Doesn’t look as good either

Yes HSV…. But doesnt have a B badge for B-Money

You’re not very cultured are you HSV? Thinking the ugly W427 is better looking than a Bentley. Oh dear. As for it being double the price, considering the standard Continental GT starts at $400,000 and the W427 was $150,000 I think this will be a bit more than double the price.

Don’t try and stop HSV, he’s the funniest bloke on the net. As to why anyone would pay double the price of an R8 for no significant performance gain with the W427 is hysterical!

On topic – Bentleys are sublime motor cars, the only addition I would include would be firing ports for my M4.

As to why anybody would spend money on a HSV in the first place is hysterical.
