If there is a new RX-7, does that mean they will stop making the RX-8?

Apparently there is word that there will be a new RX-7! The reason Mazda never turbo charged the 8 was apparently due to emission laws and the Rotarys not so good fuel efficiency

I love the RX8′s, [actually bit of a Mazda fan .full.stop.!] but for mine they are just to tame, and trying to be to many things to to many and suffering for it.
The auto has a HUGE drop in output, requires either a larger rotary or a turbo, the 350Z would smoke it.

Maybe RX9 will fill in all the blanks?

That’s expensive,
We may have to pay more for our cars than Japan and the US, but not as much as Europe and also considering their cars have a lot smaller engines aswell.

Shame this isn’t coming to Oz, but ivory interior looks bad enough, but in a sports car?! (yuck)
