CA, I think you should seriously consider banning HSV’s comments from the website. Only because his views are uninformed and to bad taste. I don’t have a massive problem with him but the fact that you never delete his comments when they are off topic but you get onto other people about it annoys me and others on the website.
What’s next? His HSV has a higher top speed than a Bugatti Veyron and looks 100 times better than an Aston Martin DB9 I expect.

HSV, you must be joking? The Avalanche? Better looking? It is one of the ugliest cars Holden have ever had anything to do with. Not all cars are about being fast you know. I doubt the Avalanche would have anything on the Land Rover as far as off roading goes. Or quality. Or reliability. Or economy. Or taste. Or space.
How an you call it might (I assume you meant mighty) when you yourself say it can’t do good burn outs? It is a “performance car” after all. Holden “Special” Vehicles indeed. So special they need help to be any good.
Finally, more quicker? The word you are looking for is fast or you can drop the more and write “faster”.

Land Rover deserve this. I know I am slightly biased being a Range Rover and a Discovery 3 owner but I went into Land Rover ownership unsure of things such as reliability and quality (due to my family owning many that were unreliable and bad quality) and I was pleasantly surprised. I know Land Rover weren’t all that reliable until a few years ago but they changed very quickly and are now very sound. I hope they continue to prosper.

If that isn’t off topic CA then what is? The mans a dick of the highest order. Its a motering site not a car sales site.

I only hope that Tata can maintain the momentum that Ford have dumped. Somehow with the Asian economy buckling i don’t see it.

Thank you HSV, that’s the funniest thing I’ve heard today! Not many people were dumb enough to buy the Crewman, let alone the Adventra, and obviously you bought 1 of the only 2 Avalanches sold! Hence go to a Holden Dealer and ALL of them now are extinct….

The might HSV avalanche SUV is better looking and more quicker. I got mine real cheap so I added 20 inch rims and a sports exhaust. I had some trouble re selling it though. Anyone interested, it doesn’t do good burnouts that is why I am selling.
