They surely have the capability of doing so….fitted the gtr running gear inside the Juke, so it shouldn’t be a problem in an infinity and neither would it be hard to let some of the gtr engineers loose on an Infiniti….

No wonder Infinitis are becoming increasingly unreliable..

They’re sourcing too many components from euro-trash brands.

The only good thing about the upcoming Q50 is the 3.7L V6 under the hood..

But Toyota/Lexus even outclasses that with their better 3.5L V6 engine

I don’t think that Infiniti is able to put up a serious fight against other luxury makes. Lexus just knows how to do it better, and BMW is still the one to beat. Building an M3 rival might just be too ambitious. It should perform well, but will it be bought?

I seriously think Toyota said that about Hyundai some years ago. Now look…

I think the X1/X3 competitor is the current Infiniti EX (Nissan Skyline Crossover), which I would assume is due to be replaced by an upcoming QX50. Surely this will be the first released car after the Q50 given the popularity of the SUV market, followed closely by the QX70 (replacing the Infiniti FX).

The JX was only just released last year, so assume it will just take on the name QX60 as per Infiniti’s previous press releases.

If they introduce a M3 rival it would need to undercut the M3 substantially. A small margin would most likely have people stretch for the M3 due to its reputation alone.

I doubt infinity will have much chance down under with the new lexus is coming out and the already successful 3 series, c class and a4

Coupe wise, it’s a long time to be running with that old thing they got from Skyline. In respect to the new car, it looks like a Hyundai – which is unfortunate. Not sure that people in their target market would want that. (i45 any one?)

I think it has some hints of Maserati in the design.

Do you mean the car at the top of the page? I’m think you do, That as you can see is nothing like their other vehicles and surprisingly good looking.
