The front end of this is a disappointment and overall, I prefer the original’s exterior design. The interior is a huge step forward.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the polarising looks of this, the strong(er) competition and the downturn in the economy will all conspire to ensure this is yet another Nissan (Micra and Navara excepted) that doesn’t meet sales targets.

Haha dont be so ridiculous. I just realise that there is a difference between stylish and trying way to hard to be stylish.

The dualis is another failure… sorry forgot to mention that. That is down the other end of the boring/ugly scale.

I have a mate who works at Main north nissan here in SA so i asked him and he said its going OK… tbh i was surprised by that… by the number i see on the road i wouldve thought it would be struggling. Must be young girls who get sucked in by these ‘cute for 1 minute’ cars..

Perhaps they are all still on their learners????

crouchy, i urge you to ring your local Nissan dealer tomorrow and ask them how the Micra is going, i think you might be suprised, not everyone likes a car styled like an EL Falcon champ

I somehow think that seeing this beast in the flesh wont do it any favours. I dont like the styling direction that Nissan are taking… thats all im saying and thats my opinion.

We will see what happens when they start selling them.. much like the micra, the numbers will tell all.

I saw a new Murano (white) on the freeway about a week ago. It looks small, I almost mistook it for a Dualis at the back. From the side it looks better, but the styling will date quickly.

Crouchy if you cant handle it go have a cry on your mums shoulder. You are right everyone is entiltled to an opinion. My opinion is that anyone who cains cars that he has not ever driven or seen in the flesh (Murano and 370)should keep his mouth shut.

That front grill is nasty. I think it looks OK from the back and the interior looks good but the front? Yuck. Horrible. I’d much rather an updated Tribeca but then again, I am lucky enough not to be forced into a market where they try to make Japanese SUVs sound like they are in competition with the X5 and M Class. I can afford the X5.
