Saw one on the M1 in Qld yesterday when driving towards Brisbane. wasn’t sure whether they had been released but like must sports enthusiast, was travelling with the traffic. Funny thing at the same time I saw a Bentley Continental coupe heading north on the M1, now thats a nice car

In my opinion, when something lays down a 6 figure price and then backs up with the performance, that my friend is all the “badge” you need.
Everything else is just opinion.
My BMW 325CI is a “badge” sort of, bought brand new. But with 24000km on the clock, one of the few times it was not garaged, the interior melted and everything hangs down like its a fucken puppet show.

Well having owned a v spec fully nismo bombed out gtr 98 i think this will be awesome ,the handlingin the gtr i think is even better than a porshe so this new one should give them something to think about it as long as they have fixed the problem of bolts undoing themselves in the engine rocker covers ,i cant wait to get one of the new ones ,i hope they did put the v8 in ,

we all know the skyline is gonna be BAD ASS!!,butt the skyline was very limited in its past years how do we know it is gonna be a big success considering the price,espesially when you can get an audi r8 for about 100 grand.

Just to address Steane and Alborz, I always agreed it had supercar performance and handling (japanese supercar in another words), but I never believed it looked like a true supercar. Much like I consider an Evo 8 FQ400 a japanese supercar but not a true supercar going by it’s racer boy flamboyant rally looks.

In Japan the mighty GT-R will be avail. in 3 different specs.

The top *animal* grade will have superior performance to a Porsche Turbo, yet be around or a bit cheaper than a std. 911.It will destroy a Porsche and so it should BUT it does NOT have the *badge*…

I think we will only see the base model here and the price would have to be around $120k.

Nicce as in very nice, for mine i want a Elfin

Damo, since the R32 was released in 89 the GTR has always been a supercar. They are amazing machines for the money. Even at 200k it will be a relative bargain when compared to what it costs to buy a similarly specced Porsche or other exotic.

I really hope that this new Gen GTR continues the GTR tradition. Which means the engine and gearbox will be bullet proof and the after-market tuners will be able to go mad again on a good strong base car. Unlike the Rex, with the old GTR’s you didnt have to throw half the car away and start again, they were seriously well put together.

I think it looks awesome but I’m a big GTR fan and rather one eyed when it comes to the car with the round tail-lights.

Yep, the track is definitely Laguna Seca near Monterey in California. That town has more Ferraris per capita than anywhere else in the world, so the GTR may have gone relatively unnoticed if it weren’t for the “camouflage”.

Looks very nice indeed, but so does the £65,000 price tag at the end of the clip. That’ll probably translate to about AU$200,000 …. OUCH!

I like the fact that the Skyline has involved from some little 4 door jap car, to a sports car, and now it is ready to take on the big boy supercars. Has my thumbs up even though I don’t like Renault or the design.

IMO: Not so sure its the Nürburgring, the video looks like its been filmed in the US, the other cars in the video on the road and one in the pit are US style SUV’s. Also the car appears to go past an advert for BIG.COM.

But in a word : Awsome! Very agressive styling. Almost a bit retro with those round rear lights. Reminds me of the old skyline.

Good to see more AWD sports cars out there.

I dont think thats the Nurburgring. It looks like its in the USA and judging by one of the corners my best guess is that its Laguna Seca.

New GTR should be a ripper. It will be a Porsche competitor if they have managed to keep its weight down, otherwise the Porsches will still be better on the track…just.

Can’t wait to see it in ‘real life’.
