I think it looks great! Very Cadillac like, which is the idea obviously. I really would like it if this could become the next generation Holden Captiva (I can see hints of Captiva in it's design [mainly the sweeping shoulder crease and the rear lights) but I'm guessing this is too high-end for our little SUV here in Aus. The Captiva's styling is alright but very bland, and this could really ad some personality to it. I mean, lets face it, the Territory is killing Holden's little Korean (although it is not really in the same class). I just don't want a Korean substitute anymore, no more crap ugly dashboards and steering wheels made from horrible hard cheap plastics for Holden's un-Australian cars (and yes I know that a fair bit of Captiva's development was done here). And please, no more Viva or Epica! Bring us the Insignia pleease!

Cheers,
Steve

I hate being pessimistic, but can anyone see anything remotely new or twenty ten type stand out from the crowd about this vehicle (apart from the Cadilac face)? I mean X5 was new & different to the crop, as was Cayene and even RX350 (or whatever the LExus is). This really doesn't bode well for GM bringing itself out of the mire. Or am I expecting too much?

I prefer the BMW X6.... When are GMs American designers going to get rid of the rulers?
