Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster: circa-$845,000 local price

Less than a week after the all-new Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster was unveiled to the delight of future Lamborghini owners wanting wind shoved into their hair at an impressive rate of knots, Australian prices have been hinted at for the first time.

While the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster’s June 2013 US on-sale price of $445,000 was revealed last week, an Australian figure was as yet undisclosed.

Australian Lamborghini spokesperson Jessica Salmon today told CarAdvice, "We have been informed that the ballpark cost of the Roadster is approximately 11 per cent more than the coupe".

This puts the lid-less Aventador’s figure at roughly $845,000 – more than $83,500 above the recently raised $761,500 price for the hardtop version.

As for deliveries, Salmon said the arrival of the first Australian Aventador Roadsters would be dependent on the submission of orders.

"Lamborghini expects a waiting list as production is limited, so the sooner an Australian customer submits an order, the sooner it will be delivered to Australia," she said.

Lamborghini expects worldwide deliveries to start from March 2013, depending on where the first orders come in from.

The first Australian orders for the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster are yet to be confirmed.
