Although i think it’s a ridiculous idea, performance SUV, it is a market that BMW can’t afford to ignore. Porsche has the Cayenne Turbo S, MB has ML63, and audi has that V12 diesel. Although i must say, i really wish they didn’t call this X5 a M car, that dilutes the M brand with a overweight SUV.

Although it will be tasteless, I think this will probably be one hell of a car. The X5 already handles better than some cheaper hatchbacks and with that engine… It will have a tacky bodykit though and will be footballer central for the first two years and after that it will still have wankers driving it. Shame really. I think I’d prefer a Q7 V12 TDI.

haha if BMW had followed its naming convention e.g M3, M5, it would have the MX5 too bad mazda own the MX5 name. this will be one beast of an SUV considering the normal X5 is probably one of the best handling SUV’s out there.
