Speaking of Hyundai-Kia and supercars, anyone seen the Korean supercar, the Spirra S? has some pretty impressive stats and uses the 2.7L Hyundai V6 engine and looks good too.

Wheelnut, I think you are underestimating the Koreans.

Lookout Honda and Toyota, Kia and Hyundai are a real threat.

it is a real shame. But atleast Honda have their priorities right.

Why spend Millions of dollars on R&D for a car they will sell very few numbers on, when that money can be spend getting their new Hybrid and Hydrogen cars off the ground in greater numbers?

Honda Civic Hybrid
Honda Jazz Hybrid
Honda CR-Z Hybrid Sports Car
Honda FCX Clarity in more countries.

Honda are building a very good rep of fuel efficient and cutting edge cars that people can actually afford.

And after the very very positive review of the FCX Clarity Hydrogen Car from the Top Gear UK Crew, this does put them in good view to the general population who watch Top Gear (ALOT).

Im sure once the world economy calms down (which it will eventually!), the project will get renewed.

In the mean time! Where is that CR-Z Hyrbid Sports Car! Very tempted to see if they can pull this off!!!

I don't think you could realistically compare a $40-50K Hyundai Coupe to a Honda "Super-Coupe" that if it ever made it to Australia let alone into production would cost at least $120-150K

Even though I think the Genesis Coupe will be fairly impressive..RWD V8 etc

The favourie Super-Coupe [from Asia in the fight against the germans] would have to be the new AWD GT-R
