The locals would have absolutely LOVED this! This reminds of the time I visited Modena and Maranello back in 2003, and we were actually in Maranello when the F1 was on in Monza, or one of the other European rounds (can't quite recall which it was). What I do remember is sitting in the town piazza watching the race on the big screen with thousands of screaming Ferrari fanatics...the locals are super passionate about Ferrari, Maserati and Ducati. Schumi won the race, and about 40 or 50 Ferrari's came out of nowhere and started doing burnouts, revving engines and taking off up the main strip. The police were standing by cheering them on!! Brilliant!
