It already looks dated-seems like a hurried job to get it into the market place.
VW are not really known for their SUVs unless you want to include the VW Kombi-talk about an eyesore on the road

umm..”realcars” the x-trail no longer has a speedo in the middle of the dash. The tiguan (tsi or tdi) really isn’t in the same class as a forester, cr-v or x-trail. With the Tiguan, once you add $750 for metallic paint, a few basic options and the extortionate VW dealer delivery you are looking at 40K – not to mention the 6 month wait. I’d take the so-called ugly forester any day.

Hey Joe (hums a well known tune ) the problem is, if you buy one for $25k you’d still finish up with a Territory Turbo ……

He told me when he got it how wonderfully economical these things are, him being a total Ford tragic who didn’t believe real world information, and I laughed at him.

I don’t think it’s ever been completely filled with fuel since it was new, because he bleeds every time he has to put fuel into it.

But I concur – the Tiguan may not be perfect but it’s streets ahead of the CRV, Xtrail, and the other also-rans in this class.

Better looking than ugly Forester.Isn’t the Forester interior el cheapo looking? Looks like generic Toyota interior shiny grey plastic.

This thing should outsell all the ugly soft roaders out there.

Get over it. Buy any medium to high end new car and u loose a motza in depreciation. Especially LARGE 4wd Reckless!

Driveaway price on the Territory at present is a bargain.

Want to minimize depreciation buy a new Lancer for 20990 driveaway.Use it for five years and still get 10k as a trade.

More u spend the more u loose on a new car.Simple.

Tiguan a lot more appealing than CRV and entrail(ugly box on wheels)hate the middle speedo too.LOL.

How is a Territory 2wd even remotely comparable to the Tiguan AWD ??

Good luck re-selling the Territory – a friend is trying to sell his 2yo AWD Turbo with 26000k for $35,000 and can’t even get a nibble.

For me, a Territory at current drive away price of $33,000 is the choice
