Lamborghini Aventador owned by Batman to swoop into Sydney

The actual Metallic Grey Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 from the Batman film The Dark Knight Rises will be one of several pieces of Italian eye-candy on display at this week's 2012 Australian international motor show in Sydney.

The left-hand drive Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 supercar that starred as Bruce Wayne's personal vehicle in the third of the new franchise of films is powered by a 515kW/690Nm V12 engine capable of shifting the sleek 1575kg Lambo from rest to 100km/h in 2.9 seconds and on to a top speed of 350km/h.

This will be the second time a Lamborghini Aventador has appeared at an Australian motor show after delighting fans in Melbourne in 2011.

Batman’s daily driver will be accompanied at Lamborghini’s stand by a Lamborghini Gallardo 570-4 Spyder Performante, a Gallardo LP 550-2 Tricolore (between October 22-28) and a fourth car – a V10-powered concept car never before seen in Australia.

The motor show is open to the public at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre in Darling Harbour from October 19-28.
