no one wants to admit that the 07-08 elantra isnt that bad looking. it is compact and mildly aggressive looking. The car reminds me of a mix of subaru impreza+ mazda3+ hyundai styling. I wanted a subaru impreza but instead i got a elantra, but over time i have come to realize that my elantra could not only keep up with impreza’s (most) but with some “TLC” my 08 elantra can look just as cool as any import on the road today(not including nissan’s skyline& s-chassis or fairlady Z-line of cars nor can it beat out a STI WRX nor a evo, but thats life). Im not saying that there isnt any “better” cars (come on the best hyundai is the triburon)i would on the drop of a hat trade with a impreza owner if my car was stock, but when it comes down to RL the elantra is a good car.

Hmm maybe I am just blinded by the new 2008 Model Subaru Impreza, I dont think the Elantra is that bad.
Seems like car designs have been a little … ordinary .. in the last year or so.

Hyundai, like many other car companies are going backward in the design department.
