I’ve never seen a taxi that costs $160 -170k. I also didn’t realise that HSV made commodores. Or maybe your refering to the W427? With Holdens Cult Following and the performance and the fact its basically a collectors item, it isn’t all that bad a thing for Holden. I’d have the GTR over it anyday. But it’s not the greatest of comparison’s IMO

I still say its way to cheap if you wont to see mark up look at the commondore hsv for the same money as this car then go figure how holden can charge that much for there taxi

When pics of the first ever R35 were released I wasn’t a fan of it, it didn’t really have as much of an agressive appeal as the R34. But it has grown on me and I still think it looks pretty mean, so I pretty much tend to disagree with quite a few people who tend to think its ugly etc. In a business sense, its pretty understandable for Nissan to put so much mark-up on the GTR because its not as though they’re gunna have any issue selling them. But then again, it is a pretty significant mark up for the paint.

No doubting its awesome performance levels, but it still looks like it’s made from sheets of plywood. When the Japanese can combine driveability and styling in the same car the game will be over….
Maybe not, because then the snobs will argue ‘heritage’.
