Video: Eric Bana’s “Love the Beast” trailer
November 14, 2008 by Karl Peskett
A little while ago, we brought you news of Eric Bana’s directorial debut – a documentary entitled, “Love the Beast”.
Well now, here’s the trailer. The film is due in March 2009.

Can’t wait – we did a segment with Eric Bana back in 1995 on the TEN series “Behind The Wheel”. He was a good bloke then and still is a good bloke, and a great supporter of Aussie muscle cars.
That looks pretty cool.
Might have to tune out the Dr. Phil bits though.
Ahhhhhhhh the mighty XB Coupe ,dont get much cooler than a Falcon Coupe in Aussie Muscle Car stakes, except an XA GT Coupe, cant wait to see it.
Who can forget the James Hardie 1000 in 1978. Alan Moffat and Colin Bond led Ford home 1 and 2. What a race that was!
Looks good. Someone said he crashed the car in the movie or for the movie? Not sure but hope it real and isnt a staged movie. XB’s are the sweetest shape!!
From memory, he actually crashed it on the targa stage, must be using the footage as part of the film. Either way, looks awesome, cant wait to see it
at the start i thought it might have been just another doco,
but towards the end of the trailer, it seemed like it might actually have a pretty good story line to it aswell
A movie about 2 Aussie legends! Doesn’t get much better that that!
If there is ever going to be a “new” Max Rockatansky, Eric Bana gets my vote!
Scotty: Are you saying you want a Mad Max remake?
If ever anyone asks me who i would turn gay for…
I answer Eric Bana
Your a sick-o fully! Get real!
Thats a hot XB! Cant wait to see the film.
Would be great pic to watch. Crouchy seems he might drool and forget about the car but……yuk!
I hope Jay Leno was joking when he said that bit about “if you had put all the blood sweat an tears into that car, you wouldn’t have hit the tree” IS HE FOR FN REAL OR WHAT..i hope that was a joke…if not, jay your a wank…
Ok Ill promote it if CA havent updated the event.
This Thursday 12.3.09 it hits the Cinemas, and for those that think its a boggan film, your wrong !
Its a film that any person can relate too, especially if you have a close affiliation to a car, no matter what model.
If you have a girl friend or wife take her along she may get a better understanding of why car nuts spend time with our own beasts……..
Looking forward to it !
