This is the best demonstration yet of Hyundai’s intended direction. I bet the philosophy wont change. Best quality, sharp price. And WOW, what a great looking car.

Really, that he says it’s better than a Lexus surprises me. How does it compare to a Honda Legend? I cannot imagine anything surpassing the quality of a Honda.

My friend has driven a Genesis and he said this car is definitely better than BMW5, Mercedes E-class and Lexus GS in every aspect…Handling, Ride quality, Build quality, Interior quality etc …

‘Sgt.Sweetchuck’ no mate, I dont own a Hyundai. Although reading overseas reviews of this car where it beats the BMW 5 Series and Merc E-Class and then wins Canadian Car of the Year….has to say something very positive about this car.

Motortrend done a comparison between the v8 Genesis and the equivalent Lexus and Merc and it compared well being better in most areas for less than half the price of either in the States.

Their main criticism was that it’s appearance was a knock off of the Merc and Lexus. They said the leather interior had a higher quality appearance than the Lexus and more high tensile steel in the body with greater rigidity than the Merc.

Obviously you drive a very rare and distinguished Hyundai yourself! LOL

I remember in the early 80s my Dad had a Ford LTD with \’Cartier\’ badges on it.It came with a special key ring, leather folder and seats.

How about a Genesis Chanel#5, that would smell really good, and be relatively cheap to create – just sprinkle a little into the cabin air filter every day.
