I WANT TO OWN ONE WHEN I AM 15. THEY ARE ONE OF THE FASTEST CARS IN THE WORLD. IT IS FASTER THAN THE 2009 LAMBORGHINI MURCIELAGO LP640 RAODSTER VERSACE. AND THATS WAY LIKE IT

Marcoz - the press release was disturbingly vague in regards to the roof, I have a strong feeling there just isn't one at all.

Hey Acilk, losing respect for Ferrari! What planet are you on? Obviously those with enough cash and taste to own one of these beauties have plenty of respect for Ferrari and what they stand for. What possible difference would the roof either on or off make on a Scuderia? As stated by the article there is minimal difference in acceleration times etc. and anyone who can afford one of these is going to have more than one car to drive and the Scuderia, whether a coupe or a convertible, is going to be their fun(or collectible) car.
Why would anyone produce such a high performance car in a convertible? Why? Because they can and because their faithfull clients can and will buy them and at the full price and are prepared to wait for them, sometimes for years.

This is why a lot of people are losing respect for Ferrari...

This goes against the whole purpose of the Scuderia

It does seem like a bit of an oxymoron, but imagine the sound with that roof down, 8 cylinder symphony.

Well, the back on the yellow one looks like a frowning goldfish with four eyes, but in a nice way. I think this is fantastic. I have never driven a Scuderia, only a normal F430. I have to try one and then maybe sell my house and buy one. I'm sure this is absolutely fantastic but it does kind of defeat the purpose of a car thats been purely made to save weight. The convertible weighs more than the coupe I'm sure. Still, the fact that it only takes .01 of a second more to reach 60 MPH is pretty good. I'd still get the coupe though and in black - lets face it - it isn't the most beautiful car from the back.
