The 370 is sold for 29.000 in the us & around 40000 drive away in Canada. Why in Australia we have to Pay 70,000 plus on road. Do they think we are dum. This car supose to be affordale sport car. with that price tag you might as well get a BMW Z4 or 1 series also 323 coupe. Why the hike in price when all the worlkd are reducing price.

In response to Ian, Carlos Ghosn so far has been a terrible CEO for Nissan. He should go.

Nissan dealers in Australia will not over pay for cars just to bring them here to Australia and make a loss just like with the N16 Pulsar hatches.

As far as the 370Z goes, it is bringing back that old school sports coupe and in terms of pricing it will beat the Z4 and the Porsche

I like it – this is how the 350Z should have looked in the first place. Hope Nissan ditch renaults dodgy engineering in engines and trans – the GT-R is getting some bad press due to gearbox failures. The Datto’s were bullet proof, bring back the Nissan over-engineering.

From the front it looks more like a Cadillac – with those sharp angular headlights.. whilst from the back it looks like a Chrysler Crossfire – with that fat bulbous a–e!
and from side on it looks like a bastard-ised Posrche 911 that s been stretched etc all out of proportion

I just dont understand Nissan’s logic. Shouldnt Nissan Australia get to decided which models come here.

On the 135i, i agree its not easy on the eye, but it does look better in the flesh. Ive driven the 335i and that engine is to die for.

I hope they drop that engine in the new z4…

Agree with TP fully and it looks slick.

Still love Celica’s but, the last model release by the Big T is still stunning looking as and smartly done! Big T can do smart cars but have walked away from them as market wants solid good allrounder cars and thats why the are number 1 as they have a great lineup. The line people draw saying they lack soul is true…..but not everybody wants a cutting edge sporty look as testament to Toyota’s sales success!

I think it looks quite good! apart from rear tail lights look out of place.. The interior is a big improvement over the current cheaply finished model..

I rather the look of this than the BMW 135i, as some people here have mentioned.

Engine wise, the 135i is all class and a bit more.

BUT, the 370Z’s powerplant isnt a push over either,

the look of the 135i, which is like a pudgy midget on steroids….. eww..

its the ugliest BMW in the market at the moment…. such a shame since the rest are all great lookers.

The wide track and wide wheels are the only positive styling of the 135i, and they are not really for looks but to supplement the excellent engine. (performance related)

Another Nissan design that either polarises opinion or looks like crap.

Personally I think the new Z looks the goods. It looks brutal with nice lines and proportions. And the interior looks to be a huge improvement in terms of design and quality.

In response to Mwt, Nissan Australia have said that Nissan Japan refuse to sell Skyline outside Japan unless it wears an Infiniti badge. Another example of their stupidity is that they forced Nissan Australia to ditch a 20+ year established nameplate, the Pulsar, for Tiida despite protests from Australian dealers – add a crap design to the mix, and the result has been a sales disaster. If Nissan Japan actually stopped making bird-brained decisions and produced better designs, Nissan’s sales and image in Australia would be doing alot better than they currently are.

Nice car when you look at the ‘whole’ car. But when you look at the back and front individually, its really quite ugly…
Why someone woujld pay 60-70k for this when ur pretty much in bmw 135i territory for same price is beyond me. (not including extras and on roads)
Bring on the Silvia replacement instead, but if its any good itll eat into 370z sales so im guessing its going to be quite panzy.
It beats me why they never bought over the skylines.. G35 or whatever. There abundant in the usa and look the part.

The car has style, inside and out. It being a shorter wheelbase is a plus too. These are just pictures … 370Z Will look hot in real life on the roads!

Needs new front lights those ones are damn ugly. Back lights are ok but to me looks too similar to porche rear lights with vertical bit added on. Besides that I love the proportions of the rest of the car.

One car company we can all agree on is Austin Martin… everyone loves the look of their cars, they are lovely :)
