If this was being test driven then I feel sorry for the owner, if the owner was “hooning” then he/she got all they deserve (apart from their injuries). Now do you agree speed isn’t the cause of accident.

Apparently the owner said after he got out to inspect the damage….”Oh My God where’s my engine,……..I think it disintegrated on impact with the pole”.

Just commenting on my personal experience. Lingo was the only one with the nuts and skills to take one by the scruff of the neck and beat up on it. I see Faz out the front of the Casino and rolling through Northbridge on a Friday night, not being used in competition. They are boulevardiers here, which is a travesty. Because lets face it, if you have the money to HP one, you should have the money to fix it.
Datto’s – at least on this side of the country get used in competition rather than lapping Chapel St.

Gents,

I lived in Adelaide for 8 years and observed a lot of ordinary driving. For example, many of the drivers don’t understand how to indicate when changing lanes.

Here in Melbourne, the drivers are similar.

I think that we need to educate drivers and attend to apathy. Yes, apathy.

In relation to the Ferrari incident, it could be a combination of mid-life crisis and declining manhood. Sorry, only Harley riders suffer from this! (Well, one less in Geelong thanks to the Rebels)

Jash, just because you’ve seen someone with a bad head of hair driving a Ferrari doesn’t mean all Ferrari drivers are pooncers. Perhaps we should stereotype all Datsun GT-R drivers as well… pimply, cap backwards, can’t drive for Sh!te, wet dreamers with questionable methods of funding their purchases? Does seem a bit harsh to categorize everyone based on their car choice doesn’t it?

Sad I missed yet another installment of F-Zero stupidity. Thats the one thing he’s not frugal with. Maybe he should re-tag himself Frugal with the Braincells.
As for the dead Faz, all the ones I see are being poonced about in by guys with perms, and/or Advanced Hair member cards. I’ve never in all my life seen a Ferrari driven hard apart from Simon Lingford’s 328 back in the day.

There are rumours that this car was on carsales, and this might have happened on a test drive.

Someone will be bleeding $$$ over this, and it won’t be an insurance company (this will be the easiest decline claim assessment job of the year :) )
