Team Hot Wheels has successfully pulled off the world’s biggest two-car double loop stunt at the 2012 X Games in Los Angeles, California, setting a new Guinness World Record in the process.

The orange 60-foot-high double vertical loop, based on the Hot Wheels Double Dare Snare track set CarAdvice showed you last month, saw drivers Greg Tracy and Tanner Foust hit 7g and speeds over 80km/h.

Eight-time World Rally Champion Sebastien Loeb took out the Global RallyCross Championship event in his one-off 407kW/800Nm Citroen DS3 XL ahead of Ken Block and Brian Deegan. The event was Loeb’s first in North America and first in RallyCross, yet again confirming his superhuman skill behind the wheel of a car.
