Hot Wheels X Games six-storey double loop stunt

Team Hot Wheels will attempt a stunt involving the world's biggest double loop, two cars and two drivers at next weekend's 2012 X Games in Los Angeles, California.

A teaser video shows the six-storey-high double loop - about 20 metres in diameter - is not only bigger than the double loop used in a recent Top Gear stunt, but that it will have two cars on it at the same time.

Team Hot Wheels is not new to extreme stunts, with the team making it into the record books last year when it executed a world-record jump of 332 feet (101m) at the Indianapolis 500 with Tanner Foust behind the wheel.

This year's X Games will also feature eight-time World Rally Champion Sebastien Loeb in the purpose built Citroen DS3 XL competing in the third round of the Global Rallycross Championship alongside big names like Ken Block, Travis Pastrana and rally legend Marcus Gronholm.
