These are beauts! But the regular Aussie bloke ain’t gonna give up his Commodore or Falcon for a prestigious European Coupe. Sad, but its the truth.

Renault reckons the Mégane will be in Australia either late 2009 or early 2010 which sucks but what sucks even more is that they have no plans yet to introduce the Laguna Coupe! I’d love the V6 diesel Laguna Coupe with 4-Wheel Steering…

man they are hot cars etter than a falcodore or a corrola.and really id much rather have a c ar with personality that has less than admirable reliability than drive a fridge

Actually, I think that with the right engines, these will be pretty good cars. The Laguna GT with the four wheel steering is actually surprisingly good and obviously a RenaultSport Magane coupe. Also, theres a 3.0 V6 going into the Laguna Coupe soon so that could be interesting. I think they are both good looking cars, maybe just a tad bland, but good lines.

Interesting mix.. The Laguna Coupe looks like a french version of an Aston Martin crossed with a Ford Cougar and the Megane looks like a VW Scirocco crossed with a Hyundai Tiburon.

That’s not to say that these cars are ugly but looks arent everything.. as Jeremy Clarkson says “I erm a French cer I am nert merde to go rernd ceurners I sherd be at herme making lerve”

lookin good, but easier to make a good looking 2 door, 4 doors is the challenge, look at Lambo and Porsche, who should stick to 2 doors. Aston and Maserati can do it.
