Aston Martin One-77 sold out already
October 15, 2008 by George Skentzos
Before it has even been completely revealed, 100 of the worlds most wealthy have apparently placed a firm order for Aston Martin’s upcoming One-77 supercar.
At least 23 will be disappointed however, with Aston Martin only planning to build 77 examples worldwide of the £1.2million supercar.
The One-77 has dethroned the Veyron as the most expensive production car in the world, but the price tag doesn’t seem to have dampened its appeal, nor has the current global economic woes.
Each interested buyer will have to make an initial deposit of £200,000 as advance payment, a second instalment of £300,000 and a final instalment of £550,000 plus the additional cost of any extras.
Aston Martin has officially revealed the One-77 will be powered by a 7.3-litre V12 engine and feature a carbon-fibre monocoque chassis and hand-crafted aluminium exterior panels.
A slight glimpse of the prototype One-77 was revealed at the Paris Auto Show earlier this month.

Lets just hope they don’t end up wrapped around poles and the like :( I would hate to see art on wheels be destroyed
I’ll be happy if they manage to venture out from under their car covers.
Damn now I know why their phone was always busy :-(
This car really makes me angry.
Because i can’t afford one. The DB9 may be in my range, in 10 years after i’ve one the lottery. This thing… never.
AAARRRRGGGHHH.
Sold out and I still haven’t seen an infocus picture of it :s
I love aston martins, if I could own any car as a fun car it’d be a DBS…but how is this worth more than a Veyron, is it just because they made a loss on the Veyrons they sold?
haha..antispam= Austin :P
One word…”Exclusivity”
haha it was my anti-spam word for the previous comment to, I must be popular bloke….or an old make of car :P
Yes I guess exclusivity is all it is Bucket, which basically means I’d still rather a DBS and keep the spare change, but if I think like that I obviously don’t have enough spare capital lying around to waste it on an Aston!
apparently when Jag made the XJ220, they took pre-orders (like this) but the car skyrocketed in cost and was ultimately built with a turbo 6 rather than V12, RWD instead of AWD. The buyers who refused to settle threatened with legal action. Let’s console ourselves that even if we had the loot, it probably wouldnt be a good idea to go to contract…
