Well Kelly Ferrari is feeling the pinch so bad it posted a $200million profit at a time where even Toyota are racking up massive losses. Maybe you're wrong and it isn't BS after all?

And Edward, get some sleep.

I cant beieve all the people out there that like sports cars or classic, are so brainwashed into the hype garbage and think that documentation on a car, or a driver who drove it , or some other silly thing will make it more valuable,
all I see is stupd greed and total ignorance over something that isnt really anything in the first place, the barrrett jackson and the RM and russo & steele are all into it for the hype and they dont care about people , they are scavengers and they dont care about someone in the real mode all they are into is showing off
to Ignorant peopple that think they are better than the next person cause they think they have more money, or are cought up in the totally fake sports car hype and they dont see it,
I adsmire Jay Leno as he dosnt get caught up in the stupid hype, and is alot more down to earth than most car guys i know,
i cant believe alll the hype and wayyyy over rated prices on ferraris and the like ,
like people mnever seen food before and seeel l thier whole family for something ths nothing in the first place,
I wish soomeone would do something about this junk,
I mean that totally sickening thing about the guy in the russo and steele auction thats waving his hand high in the air as he drives by in the black 427 cobra like it was nothing and trying to show off to some neighbor like hes made it in life,
and the totally pathetic junk about the two guys outside in the Russo & Steele auctions, talking about this car ,,, if it will go for some price or that , and not even talking about the car much,
and alll they care about is if it will get this or that high price like they were so puffed up in the attutude and
blinded by dollar signs on a piece of paper,
these peopple are totaly pathetic, and they stand there with a mike in thier hand and act like its notiing to talk about money and a nice car like it was nothing,
This crap has got to stop, and soon,
I admire people like Alain De Cadenet that like cars for what they are and are knowlegable about them and arnt caught up in the stupid auction hype of guys yellling here and there like they were selling cattle,
a car is worth the sum of its parts and
no more,
man Is sooo stinking greedy and selfiish then when he dies hes all out on everthing he so called gets in life,
I like ferraris and lambos and the other stuff too like early brass cars, but i detest the garbage that is in the car auctions and old tractor auctions tooo,
They ruin it for normal people, and the so called ones that think theve made it in life with thier styled haircuts and slick talk,
If theres a person that agrees with this than get back to me ok,
I mean you can at least get a nice testarossa with a few miles on it for about 55,to 60,000 now, and have a nice car to drive and enjoy,
also you can get a nice 400GT for not much more than 30, or 35,000 and its another one thats got alll the nice things like a Nice V-12 and nice Interior, and sweet looking body,
the dinos arnt that great and thie seats are horible, as are the daytons and i sat in the 250 GT bertone of the mid 60's and the seats were this rolled leather cushion things,
reallly hard,
made to loook at but not to drive much in,
So with Ferraris and other exotics you get what you want, but loook at them 1st and then you can see if it'll be something you can live with , or just to look at,
id get anything in the 330series

All correct Kelly. The Reccession to come is going to all but destroy the over 300k car range... After the go go go comsume at all costs, let it ride years of 2004-2007 it's time for a huge hangover.
Ferrari have weathered worse before and will survive but others wont..

Ferrari BS and propaganda. Just like all W427 were allocated (but plenty are sitting in showroom floors), another BS shot by automotive manufacturers feeling the pinch. There is a story on SMH today with how Ferrari dealers here are already having an unprecidented number of current customers with less than a year old Ferraris wanting to sell them back. The dealer said it was tough times ahead. An example given was someone who baught a Ferrari for $509K drive away less than 12 months ago was now only offered $320K from the same dealer he purchased the car off. Hows that for re-sale. The dealers reasoning was Even if I buy the car back in these times who will buy it off me?

Excessive and over priced rip off brands like Ferrari will now feel the heat badly. I for one am glad.

I recall the Jaguar XJ220 supercar sold out just before the last big crash

It seems jaguar then had a certain amount of trouble getting its supposedly well healed customers to cough up the remaining dough.

This is not surprising. Ferrari doesn't produce anywhere near enough cars to satisfy demand, so even if there are less buyers out there due to the current financial crisis it won't effect Ferrari's sales.
