^^ The ‘green car’ exemption is for cars less than $75k that consume less than 7L/100km. Cars more than $75k that consume less than 7L/100lkm cop the 33% luxury car tax for the amount over $75k, hence the A6 which costs more than $75k is reduced, but the 2.0TDI TT is exempt, because it costs less than $75k. So basically, if the car uses less than 7L/100km, the luxury car threshold is now $75k and not $57k.

what are the conditions of this reduced and exempt LCT
the TT is exempt and the A6 with exact same engine is reduced??

Why give the word “Diesel” which has been a dirty word just like porn back in the days making it sound better with it being a ‘green model’
