The Motion Simulation TL1 racing simulator that has been designed, developed and manufactured in the UK with the Ariel Motor Company has been launched at the 2012 Gadget Show in Birmingham.

The makers of the insane Ariel Atom have ensured the TL1 simulator is the be all and end all of boys toys. It features what Motion Simulation claims is the world’s first 180-degree spherical projector screen hooked up to a variable driving position cockpit, giving its users a fully immersive simulation experience.

Car and gaming enthusiasts to professional racing drivers will all appreciate the TL1′s super-realistic environments and uncannily accurate dynamics. Motion Simulation says, due to “running the best simulation software titles that include laser-scanned racing circuits, accurate to within 2mm, the Motion Simulation TL1 replicates the full driving experience, down to every bump in the road”.

The TL1 is 2708mm wide, 2355mm deep and 1985mm high and is available in a range of colours including green, red, orange, blue, silver and white.

Prices for this ultimate car enthusiast gadget start at £11,500 ($18,000) or about the same as a small car.

“Same price as a small car”….I know which one I’d get more enjoyment out, not mention which one has the better fuel economy by far. LOL

What kind of cars can you drive in it?

    • MichaelLock

you can hook a PS3 or X-Box up to it, so any of those games even aviation/fighter games.
Plus they have their own specially built software/servers.
