CarAdvice Fuel Card Giveaway

A few weeks back we announced a $50 Fuel Card give-away each month to the comment we felt most deserving. We were to base our decision on originality, relevance and possibly even humour.

This month’s winner, for presenting a comment containing all three qualities, is Nat for her comment regarding the pros and cons of leather seat ownership:

“A word of advice, if you have kids, don’t get leather. I have gone down this road before with the preconception that leather would be easier to clean. Leather is easier to clean however it scratches easily and you inevitably find yourself playing the proactive role of leather Nazi. Also in summer it is hot, damn hot. I have recently given up leather and gone back to cloth and don’t think I will ever look back again. Hope this helps”.

Nat for your kind and helpful words to a fellow reader you’ve scored yourself some free fuel. Simply click “Contact Us” with your details and we’ll pop it in the mail. Well done.

To be in the running for next month, simply leave a comment on any article published between the first and last day of October with an active email address (as directed – will not be published) and at the end of each month the winner’s comment will be decided. Good luck!

    Nat,

Instead of playing leather Nazi, you could have had it protected by an aftermarket company and saved your sanity! Leather protection is an absolute must with kids, I dont see it as a money ploy as you yourself said you turned into the Leather Nazi, this is something people dont want to see, Trust Me! Been there before… Leather Protection Is the absolute must if you have kids…. where to get it from…. if you have a second hand car bought privately and want leather protection – you could try your local dealership, they are always willing to sell a product… LOL.
