SC must be before my time. I do know D.D,D.R and P.S. I employed D.R @ Kedron, he was promoted to Mazda Fleet and got snobby. If you know him ask about his band.

Ahhh AP eagers. Big fish! getting a little bit of ‘big company disease’ Takes ages to sort out the little stuff, y’know?
If it ever goes pear shaped at this place (saturdays off, 5pm finish 3 days a week!) I will be ringing SC straight up. Love Mazda’s.
AP are itching to get another mazda francise. Big profits!
It’s funny how this website it’s easy to sort the wheat from the chaff! LOL.

I only ask because i remember seeing it parked out front every day on the way to work.
I was at AP Eagers for six years as manager at Kedron. My GM was also GM of Mazda. He is now the DP @ Newstead. It sounds like you wouldnt have to do much digging to find out who i am.
I am sure we would have allot of stories to swap…

I know who you mean.. Funny bloke. He sold that “honda”. LOL. Had an L200 mitsu as well. LOL.
I did time at Aspley then went to Caboolture with the more ‘normal’ brother… Impossible to become management there so no outside ‘blood’ ever helps the business grow. If it wasn’t for the mazda 3 they would go out of business in 3 quarters of trading IMO.
AP EAGERS wants them soooooo bad. The right few million, to the right brother,at the right time, will do it.
OMG we need a seperate Blog for Dealership stories in Brisbane.

Yes I could put some comments about them but Libel laws and all that…
They were awesome but recent changes… when he goes expect the mother of all Family bustup’s!! what anest of vipers..
Joe once told me there are 14 days in a week… Today,tonight,tomorrow,tomorrow night….etc.
Still the only Dealership without ONE computer anywhere..
WTF. Still i shifted 223 units there in 2006. Great product but the family, sweet jesus, the family!

Nice my Dad worked for Jaguar (and Aston, Volvo etc,)The ‘go to’ man for PAG parts and hard to get stuff in Australia. I think the lowest point in our relationship was when he got to go to Newport Pagnell and tour the Aston
factory in 2002. oh well he brought me back a model…
But he was at Grand Prix Jag in the valley, Brisbane.

The Snowys has some of the best roads in Australia. The Aston around Kiandra, with its long, open sweeping turns would be superb. Would no doubt be a joy through the testing tighter roads as well.

yeah, having a bit of a fetish for engine noise, I am in heaven when I am at the Aston service centre (where my humble volvo went and the jag goes). I should tape the engine noise and use it for mood music…and Karl, dont listen to them – the jag review was a ripper, but I hope you dont treat your missus the same way you did the button on the glovebox!

He he I would to see what happened to those cows when you opened the bypass valves on the exhaust!! This car has to be top 5 in the world for engine (exhaust) noise (Lexus ISF is up there too) But 225K!? Stop it….
