According to our overseas spies, this heavily disguised model is likely the new Seat Ibiza.

Its large wheels and twin exhaust pipes suggest it could be the FR-variant – one below the flagship performance Cupra.

A brief glimpse of the interior also reveals red stitching on a mix of leather and cloth seats.

A segue between the normal range and the hot version, the FR Ibiza should boast a four-cylinder turbocharged engine from the Volkswagen family.

Expect around 134kW from this Spanish family hatch, launching it into the league of the GTi – with yet another more powerful model still to come.

I see no value in posting these type of “spied” articles when the cars are that heavily disguised. Who cares.

in my opinion, there seems to be too much coverage about concept cars, and cars spied in covers.

    Lets see em naked. Thanks

Bit of a let down we will never see this, or any other SEAT’s in Australia.

  3. Myke says:

It is a bit of a shame we only got SEAT for four years in Australia (95-99), but when you look at their lineup, only the Ibiza and Leon IMO would do alright in terms of sales in Australia. The Toledo and Altea, would be like the Skoda Roomster, Australia wouldn’t understand the appeal.
