Apologies in advance to our Italian readers for what is no doubt a string of profanity as ex-F1 driver Riccardo Patrese takes his wife for a hot-lap in a Civic Type-R.

It was funny and very cute, as she didn’t know the camera was in the car. I don’t know many Italian words. My ear picked up “vomito”. Was I imagining it?

Riccardo took his wife around the Jerez track as part of Honda’s invitation to have him drive a current F1 car.I liked the way he looked as cool as the proverbial “cucumber”throughout his wife’s panic attack!
The word “vomito” was uttered and so were a few “choice” words aimed at Riccardo.
The wife was obviously asking him to slow down saying that it’s not a Forumla 1 car.
She screams at him to brake,calls him a t..d wants to get out and says he his mad.The universal hand gesture, well… is self -explantory :)
That is such a classic video clip. Perfecto!
Riccardo was super cool and shows how a professional driver doesn’t react to distractions in any panic.

I’m wondering her reaction if she were ever to go around a track with Riccardo when he was still racing….obviously would need a two seater F1 car!
