if the volt came here as a holden unchenged i would put chevy badges on it. manily so no recognition goes to holden which should have been pushing to manufacture the delta platform

^^ That doesn’t really make sense seeing how the corvette isn’t sold here. By that logic Ford should be an awesome badge to have on your car because of the Ford GT. Chevy V8’s well they are famous, but not exactly sophisticated. But I can see how people maybe would idolise that. But I still think its sad to rebadge your holden as a chevrolet, I mean Holden is not a bad brand, and its australian, so be proud, I reckon. Particularly because they are not fooling anyone, it’d be like a beige camry with a WRX bonnet scoop on it.

The Chevy name is Australia holds alot of street cred because of the Corvette and the Chevy V8’s

Makes sense, chevrolet over there are simply rebadged daewoo’s and a car like the volt would simply be wasted on a rubbish badge. Which is why it amuses me no end to see lots of Commodore SS utes with chevrolet badges on them, says a lot about the pride holden drivers have in their cars that they’d rather rebadge it with a thinly veiled daewoo badge.
