You might be thinking that with the Honda Insight Hybrid Concept taking all the limelight, Honda has all but forgotten about their best selling hybrid car, the the award winning Civic Hybrid.

No so, according to the company. The hybrid version of Honda’s best selling car is expected to undergo a minor facelift with the updated model making its world debut at the Paris motor show next month.
As far as we can gather, there are no major internal changes, merely cosmetic changes to the front and rear lights, with the addition of a more aggressive bumper and updated alloy wheel.
It sure does seems as though Honda is more focused on its new range of hybrid cars.
One other Honda hybrid car expected at Honda’s Paris stand is the CR-Z sports concept car. The car which we are determined will become the new CR-X. It will also be the first mass produced hybrid sports car from the Japanese company.
Honda intends to start a revolution with the CR-Z, by offering a small petrol-electric hybrid sports cars. The CR-Z, a sporty 2+2, takes many ideas from the CR-X cult-car, most notably it will utilise a split level glass rear window, a feature Honda has used in over three decades in the CR-X.

Honda would have to make some serious changes to the look of the car, otherwise we wont be able to tell the difference between the Civic and the new Kia Cerato (Forte)
CarAdvice is determined that its the next CR-X huh? Wheels magazine only broke the news earlier this year…
Thats great for Wheels Richo. We broke the news October last year!

bla bla…..BLAND!!! This is as boring as a toyota poois….sorry, prius
Seriously, what has being changed compared to the current Civic Hybrid, almost identical, except the wheels which is already an option on normal civic. Surprised they got rid of the old dish wheels, thought those dish wheels are more aerodynamic.
Richo, you got told. Hahah, way not to back up your words by total lack of history.
Thank Honda! they got rid of those really fugly, the 80’s wants their dish rims back look. I use to see one every now and then on the streets in Sydney and think they got their styling cue from Back To The Future II.
