No point in saying that there was nothing unexpected in the design, but apart from that, it does look nice.

There needs to be a Sedan model….

    • Golfschwein

There will be. It’s on this site somewhere.

Evolutionary, but looks great. Economy figures are tumbling.

  • OX

Best looking premium compact by far.

  • Valet Dabess

looks nice. in a boring way

Just a bloated A1 and looks too similar to the current model  – Audi is just being lazy! The new A-class wins!

  • WayneTSV

    Bland..

    • ?????????

So is bottled water… But it sells for more than petrol….

  • Oliver Cromwell

not necessarily bland, its just simplistic with nice lines.

The Passat and the Jetta are bland, this is much more elegant

Mmmmm, if this car was a burger it would be a Wagu beef burger with 3 times cooked hand cut chips and aoli. Damn, now I’m hungry.

    • Pops

More like a pseudo premium Angus burger from Audi’s mass production line….

  • shane

    very predictable from audi

  • Shak

Typical Audi. Good safe design, brilliant interiors, and top notch engines. However it just looks like an A4 hatch. Just another carbon copy, not really a bad thing, but boring.

Looks very nice, i hope they make an RS3 and bring it here!

  • Robj

way better than that stupid Golf and Jetta…..

      it is a golf reskinned

fantastic tech mentioned in article, but how much will actually be standard vs on Audi’s criminally expensive options list???

  • HAUDI

Yes, it looks like the other Audis that have been updated.  I like that – styling cues that define a family are positives to me. While I think many of the older Audis are safe and stogey in external design, I like simple, elegant, flowing lines and the lines of the A1, and now the A3. The chopped grill corners, tornado line, and sharp headlights do it for me. The styling and quality of the interior is superb.  As for the dressed-up Polo/Golf brigade, if you can’t see the difference buy a Polo or Golf and save a lot of dosh.
