Ferrari 620 GT: first image

This image of a wooden painted model is apparently the new Ferrari 620 GT. Having been previewed to prospective clients and other VIPs at a top-secret Ferrari preview, a photo of the next-generation supercar has found its way online.

Supercar website GTSpirit.com posted the photo yesterday after a reader sent in the tip. The all-new Ferrari flagship model which is still officially unnamed (but is very likely to take the 620 nameplate) will see the light of day this coming Wednesday before it heads to the Geneva motor show in early March.

Everything about this car is so far a secret, but we suspect that it will sport a 6.3-litre V12 with at least 520kW of power, making it the most powerful Ferrari ever. It will also be substantially more powerful than the model it replaces, the 599 (456kW).

With this image now online, it’s possible that Ferrari will release some official images very soon.

      Well it does NOT, but seeing they buy more Ferraris than anybody else, a look that they like would be very very important

        Yeah more corvette looking perhaps.  The 599 is bit of a “bargain” on the used car market at present – such a drop in price.  Unfortunately the Ferrari I desire over all else (a 355 coupe with a manual box) has become a halo model and commands a premium.  Similar to how a manual 993 coupe is desirable. 90′s car are the bomb, best engines, no computers and mod cons to go wrong.  No manual in Ferrari anymore?! Ridiculous, I know its faster blah blah blah.

    I’d take the MP4-12C over this or any other ferrari in a heart beat.

    but it doesn’t matter, i cant afford either anytime soon

    I think that is very, very ugly and looks no-where special enough for the price they’re going to eventually charge, much like the FF. The best Ferrari is still the 458, and by miles too!

    WHY ARE ALL FERRARI CARS SO FUGLY!!!! GOSH!!! I want the old 90′s design!!! bigger, wider headlights, lower taillights, less of a “round” shape…god -.-

    front looks like a catfish …. but then the front of the BMW 6 series coupe looks like a parrot fish … guess the rear end mess is to allow for folding metal roof in future models … wonder what fish inspired that ….
