Charlie Cox, Warren Brown, and Steve Pizzati, who describe themselves as the “ugliest men to go on television” will grace our screens, along with the Aussie Stig.

So make sure you’ve got your hard-drive recorder, DVD recorder, VCR, or even your BETA set to capture the Australian version of the iconic Top Gear.

And with interest in the non-BBC versions of Top Gear to be quite high, I’m sure it will be available from Channel BitTorrent.

When does the US Top Gear start? I’m interested to see how Adam Carrola runs the show.

Just as much as I am looking forward to actually seeing how it is, I am also hoping like hell it works. And why is US Top Gear even worth mentioning in the same breath as our own TG show?

Actually, it was mentioned in a separate paragraph, therefore it would be a totally different breath.

Oh dear. I wish I could be enthusiastic about the aussie top gear, but like the us version, its gunna be crap. Face it, Clarkson and co don’t care who they criticise, including their sponsors – which is what makes uk tg such a brilliant program. We might pay a bit of lip service to being critical (the us version won’t even go that far) but lets face it we will be too scared to bite the hand that feeds, and as a result it will be more like Channel 9’s the car show or equally ho – hum….I wish it wasn’t going to be like this, but I’d bet it will…
