Audi A3: Premium small hatch leaked
Official images of the Audi A3 have leaked ahead of the all-new premium hatch’s world premiere at the 2012 Geneva motor show.
The photos of the three-door variant come one week after a front three-quarter image of a sportier A3 model appeared online.
There are few surprises in the new Audi A3’s exterior styling, which adopts pointed LED-infused headlights, hexagonal grille, clean panels and flat LED taillights from the brand’s latest design language.
The new interior benefits from a variety of high-quality surfaces, and, as the new images reveal, a range of customisation options will allow A3 owners to personalise their cabins with unprecedented colours and textures.
The Audi A3 three-door at Geneva will be followed closely by a five-door model, while the new A3 Cabriolet and, for the first time, A3 sedan, will debut further down the track.
The initial A3 range will include a range of turbocharged petrol and diesel engines. The petrol powerplants are tipped to produce between 77kW and 155kW, while the diesels will reportedly range between 77kW and 132kW.
The all-new Audi A3 is set to go on sale in Australia early in 2013. Expect more details to be revealed in the lead-up to the Geneva unveiling on March 6.
