James Bond ‘Bond in Motion’ exhibition at Beaulieu Museum

With many vehicles on display - all playing significant roles in James Bond films over the years - the exhibition is sure to attract loads of motoring and James Bond film enthusiasts alike.

The exhibition features iconic cars such as the stunning Aston Martin DBS used in the Casino Royale, as well as the stunt version which rolled a record-breaking seven and three quarter times during a particular scene.

The BMW 750iL used in Tomorrow Never Dies with Pierce Brosnan is also on display, showcasing its fancy gadgetry. It's just one of 17 that BMW supplied the makers of the film, with lots being sacrificed for chaotic chase scenes.

The exhibition runs until December, and event organisers have said it's already a popular attraction. Stephen Munn, Beaulieu commercial director, recently said,

"We have seen a dramatic rise in website hits and an increase of over 100 per cent in our visitor numbers since the opening, at what is normally a quiet time of year. We hope the exhibition will continue to have a significant impact on our visitor numbers throughout the rest of the year."

There are plenty of other attractions at the show. Visitors can watch unique behind-the-scenes footage of particular films, as well as get up close with other props such as the boat used in the water chase scene in the recent Quantum of Solace film. It features a special compartment where the stunt driver sat to undertake all the stunt scenes.
