Agreed Supercujo. I’ll have a car with substance (which obviously comes first), appeal and if there’s some exclusivity and a little ego boosting image in there too then it’s a bonus.

I’m possibly stating the obvious here, but AMG being out of the reach of most, and the exclusivity that comes with it, is part of the appeal. It would cheapen the brand considerably if were to compete in the ‘common’ spaces of HSV, FPV, etc. Subaru’s learnt the hard way that who your cars end up with can have a flow on effect to car new sales. It’s sad to see Bogans cheapen a good brand.

Pretty cool website really. AMG make some cool stuff, pity it is priced out of reach of most.
