Bah not all the time you would need to listen to the engine, especially if you happen to get stuck in traffic something to ease the stress sometimes…

Was looking at the E36 M3 awhile ago, but all of them had way too much KM’s on the clock, really shows how enjoyed these cars were by their owners, might be looking at E46′s end of this year.

GTRmon,E36,nails most things that are on the roads regularly. Still demands respect from other real performance drivers in all facets.An awesome package still,I’m guessing our phantom blogger drivers NOTHING and packs nothing,how sad!

Do you drive an E36 or E46 M3 Bavarian Missile? Nice choice either way.

I don’t understand what you’re saying NM, I think you’re saying there’s more to a sports car than performance. The point with the MR2 is that it’s a fickle little car to drive. Took a friend’s SW20 GT round a track and it’s a right handful to drive. It’s harder to control than cars twice it’s size.

Besides, for the money of an MR2 there’s plenty of nicer, faster and more practical cars out there.

Also, I don’t get what you were insinuating about with the fugly thing? Am I ugly, is the R32 GTR ugly, is my girlfiend ugly? I don’t get it?

What about the R32GTR R33GTR, anyone can afford one of these days, let alone the stereo types you mentioned. The GTR did not start at the R34 my friend. As said earlier if you have money you buy whatever you like.

Anyways if you from Melb you know the habibs here drive their VL turbo’s, SS’s, XR8/6T here more than the skylines…

Loved the generalization.

Fair enough, a lot of “Habib’s” or even “Marios” or “Thranhn” driving Skylines and such.

But just to be specific. Most are driving the cheap GT-S models. Hardly any respect for that “variant”.

Most enthusiast can tell the different even if a wannabe GT-S has a GTR badge… a crime on its own there.

This GT-R… well, If I get sent to Japan sometime next year, I already have a few people over there who can get me a second hand for about 60K AUD equivalent.

Some work mates who are on their way there have plans to get their hands on it too. The point is, its expensive even as a second hand. Your typical bogan or “habib” or “mario” or even “thrahn” cannot afford it… which is good. Heck, the R34 still retails for 40~50K. Most of the “crap” versions on the road that gives that “stigma” or the main reason for the generalisations are driving cheap variants.

And to choose an inferior Porsche model to attract “gold digging” ditzies… well, to each to his own I suppose. But atleast try to get the “worthy” Porsches.

And to make a sportcar does not mean it has to be full on handling, motor with kw’s heaps…………….Iam stating it has to have the feel and ambience inside and classic lines and svelte on outside!
