I always thought that a kia sorento was an old cow of a car and know I know it because even hayzee seems to agree saying that they are VERY MUCH UDERRATED

Nearly bought one of the current models – diesel EX-L last year.

Just didn’t quite offer enough to deter me from keeping the trusty Jackaroo.

The next Kia will have to be bloody good to beat the forthcoming return of the Mitsubishi Challenger, though.

I also reckon they’ll overdo the price hike (getting too big for their Korean boots too quickly) – any more than the current $45,000 even puts it into the Pajero’s turf, and that’s just ridiculous.

Verdict? FAIL. Even without available specifications.

the current model kia sorento, particularly in diesel guise, is actually one of the most underrated cars on the road at the moment! I drove one and it impressed the hell out of me, and i thought it was going to be a reasonable 4WD, didn’t realise that it was a pretty close shade behind the pajero and prado! And in my opinion nicer to drive then the current pathfinder

I prefer the current shape. Current Sorento in diesel guise is the best bang for buck of all the mid sized 4×4′s. Very much underrated.
