TTS seems a bit Hollywood and at $30k more than a 135i ,not good value for performance.Also TTS probably more pitched against 335i.Too glitzty for my tastes,I would be a bit embarrassed to park it outside the pub but no doubt it is a great drive.

A suave mid thirties aged male driving the hard top will lure any gorgeous woman with real taste into the cabin, trust me. Drive an evo x and expect different results, most girls under the age of 30 which like fast cars will be magnetized to the thing. NOT A HAIRDRESSER’S ANYMORE ME THINKS! The lower models, maybe, but probably more real estate agents I think. Just wait for the TTRS to change this stereotyping even more!

Back to the TT thing. Love it, best interiors in the class and to make things even better we’ve got a deisel version here now. Ok its not the TTS but ain’t far off it.

Wow, that is impressive. 96.5K for a coupe with tiptronic, bloody hell, pricey, but still beats spending 35K+ per year on the interest for a house that lot of people don’t even think about twice. Hmmm, gimme this baby NOW. Orange looks bloody impressive, blue is nice too.

Jeez, Bav Miss, that must be a wrench spending that kind of dough every 6 weeks.

That’s enough to lease one of these cars :)

It’s nice to know that I can easily get the same engine power as this Audi has from my GTI with an APR or a REVO treatment. (Even get more torque, too, at 400 or so NMs)

Admittedly it’s about 8 times the price, but it doesn’t have to be done every 6 weeks, either, :) :)

Baverian we’re all really interested in how much you spend on a haircut – no, really we are. You must feel like quite the man dropping that sort of coin on at the hairdresser.

On a serious note, the fuel economy figures are quite amazing. About 50% less than the Evo X, for example, with similar power figures. Ze Germans have done it again!

It’s a pity the old model gave the TT a ‘hairdresser’ image because the numbers quoted on this new model with it’s baby R8 styling would definately have defined this TT as a car to have.

i dont think that real men dont drive convertables.A lot of men i have seen drive the 3 sereis cuopes and they are hot as.

Each time I leave my hairdresser I get a bill for around $200 every 6-8 weeks, she wont need to many clients to afford one Wheelnut!

Well they look good, alot better than the last TT. You do see a lot of silver TTs on the road, so the orange is a nice refreshing change. Performance/consumption figures are attractive, however i tend to agree with Bavarian. You only buy these if you cut hair or are having a mid-life crisis. Real men dont drive convertibles (with a few rare exceptions to that rule.)

A hairdressers car? at $70-90K it would only take your average hairdresser an average 8 or so years to afford one.
