Toyota NS4 plug-in hybrid concept teased ahead of 2012 Detroit motor show

Toyota has joined its luxury off-shoot Lexus in teasing images of a concept vehicle to be shown at January’s 2012 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

The Japanese brand has revealed a picture of a contemporary-looking, LED-laden headlight that it says belongs to an “advanced plug-in hybrid concept vehicle” it is calling the NS4.

The Toyota NS4 concept will make its debut at the Detroit motor show on the morning of January 10th, alongside the US debut of the company’s Prius C hybrid city car.

Both cars confirm Toyota’s intention to expand the number of hybrid vehicles it offers.

Lexus has released two images so far of a sports car concept it will display at Detroit.
