Unless your mother in law is 140 cm tall with twig like legs and does not need to breath you won't be able to fit her in there unless of course you are a small person and you put your seat foward quite a bit. Why not buy something like an M3 or Audi TT RS? Better build quality with all the luxuries and comfort you expect from the price. I just can't fathom how people consider buying this car unless they are lotus fans or just eyecandy lover.

There are tons of sportscar with 2+3 and 2+2 arrangements....BMW M3, BMW135i, Audi TT S, Audi TT RS, Normal Audi TT, Audi A5, Audi S5, etc, etc Some 2+3 like AMG series (for example C63AMG), Audi RS4, etc. All of those cars are manificently built and really set the benchmarks in their class. Lotus Evora has terrible interior build quality as well gear boxes and engine sourced from toyota, which means that it's lacking in its own innovations. All lotus is good for is making very light cars with compromise in safety, practicality, features and comfort. Sure lotus evora might drive great but making tin can that can only drive fast hmmm anyone can do it and for the price you are not getting what you are paying for unless you are a lotus fan. Lotus Evora is intended to be your everyday sports car but with insufficient practicality, safety and comfort it fails in that category while the overall build sorely lacking in innovations letting other cars in its price range to trample over it. Cars made by lotus are simply toy cars for rich people play-thing....

This should have been the new MR2 at half the price of a Lots Of Trouble.. Toyota retains its crown of boringest car company in history.

For Shame!

Hmm. I think Ill be buying one of these if I can afford one. I really love it. I think it looks great from all angles. The one thing that has put me off Lotus in the past is the lack of saftey features but then again, thats not what Lotus is about is it. This ones supposed to be safe so I think I'd quite like one. This will be proper 911 competition but probably for half the price.

I pitty the fool who sits at the back!!!

I wonder why Lotus bother to produce a 2+2 with such a tiny back seat space. Why not stick to the original 2 seater they have been making all this while?
