Last night, I remebered there was an Opel Insignia show car that had a similar frront end. I Googled it (Opel Insignia Concept) to refresh.

Sure enough, this new car has taken its design direction, somewhat loosely, from the show car that showed itself way back in 2003.

  2. Hendrik says:

I wouldnt say its an overly attractive car, has some styling clues from various other models and it sort of looks like a cheap slovenian knock off to be honest.

  3. Bret says:

    Frosty/Richo,
You guys need to take off your Holden sunglasses in the dark: The Camira was, is, and always will be nothing but a total dog.
We ran them at work for 3 agonising years:
Steering was atrocious, performance was only average, economy was crap, brakes were dodgy. Build quality was substandard (even by Holdens standard of the day).
Avearge accident rate amongst employees driving these dogs was nearly double that of any other car on the fleet due to the poor handling and braking dynamics.

No doubt the Camira is one of the biggest blights on Australias motoring history!

i had high hopes for this

what the hell happened to the front? my god thats ugly

looks pretty good from the back though.

all in all it looks like someone crashed a new mazda 6

  5. T says:

funny how holden has not commented on the return of the vectra.

when they said, ford was stupid for bringing back the mondeo….. wonder how they fell when they now look and see every mondeo sold before it gets here??

vectra WILL be back. with TORANA badges ( maybe not lol )

  6. No Name says:

T – you’re mixed up mate. 1 comment criticising the next you want it down under.

Some how I don’t think the latter will happen, too expensive compared to the commie, and you Australians moan about anything Euro bought in by Holden. i.e Zafira, old Vectra, new Astra, Corsa (Barina). Seems Holden have a difficult problem to solve.

  7. Duck says:

86kW seems a bit underpowered for a vehicle of this size doesn’t it?
