Yawn… just looks like an XR5 and given its still FWD it essentially is… just with a $15k+ extra pricetag

This is a sensational looking car, definitely a notch or two above the XR5, itself a great looking car. Ford and Renault must have the two hottest looking hatches on the planet at the moment, with this and the Megane on yesterday’s news page.

Talk about calling the kettle black TP, the TRD Aurion looks like the Sportivo and given its still FWD it essentially is… just with a $15k+ extra pricetag.

The only Foucus that gets admiration from me. The rest of the range is a little dull compared to the competition. Basically a ten year old shape rehashed again.

Ford Australia or FPV, I don’t care which one of you do it. BUT PLEASE IMPORT THIS THING INTO AUSTRALIA!!! My deposit is waiting.

Less torque steer than a TRD Aurion/Camry,faster and cheaper too I imagine if it hits our shores through FPV,bring it in Barrett. One hot hatch !

FPV or ford arent going to bring this to Aus. shame. Their going to wait until Australia builds the focus in 2011 and do a FPV version. See story on drive.com.au

this 2.5litre engine has more torque then the 3.5litre supercharge V6 of the TRD!
LOL and this thing will be WAY WAY Lighter… ahhh… another car that will kill a TRD… lol.
now the only problem is getting this machine, this little pocket rocket down under!!!

It will also no doubt be less reliable.
BM torque steer? Although this thing would have an LSD FWD handling is a factor of power AND weight. Being lighter then an Aurion with more power and torque it could very well be a hand full.

Ford Focus RS will kill any Toyoda TeRD based on one simple fact including many more, enthusiast’s buy car’s that look fantastic, drive superbly, appreciate pure dynamics and real world characteristic’s, etc, not whitegood Aurion, Camry, Priass junk.
