“The Chevrolet Captiva, or also known as the Holden Captiva and Daewoo Winstorm, makes its appearance at the 2008 London Motorshow”

There, I fixed it for you. The Captiva is not better known as a Holden Captiva because I am sure they sell far more in Europe, Africa and the Middle East as Chevrolet Captiva.

I think a nod should be given to the Daewoo product name, Chevrolet Sh*tstorm has some alliteration and fits much better :)

Also known as the Vauhall Antara here in the motherlands my colonial friends. We had this sometime after
Holden released it in Australia due to quality problems.
THe Chevrolet has a 7 seat version whereas the Vauxhall does not. THe Vauxhall has a better finish than the Chev as well. I’m assuming theHolden is really the Chevrolet here. i.e.a cheaper version.

Late last night I saw one of these parked in South Yarra VIC with “LEFT HAND DRIVE” and something like “ENGINEERING EVALUATION VEHICLE” on the rear bumper. Stopped and had a good gawk but couldn’t really see much inside due to poor lighting. It had a Chevy badge (unmasked) on the front grille as pictured here but had a couple of unusual cut-outs on the corners of the front bumper. Seemed pretty standard otherwise. It was registered as a 2005 Daewoo.
