WOW! Anthony you lucky duck! My dream machine right there.
Anthony, how can I apply for this job that you’re on? You’re truly a lucky bloke to get behind the wheel of this ferocious machine. Even if I can spend just 15 minutes behind this car, it will be truly exceptional experience that I will never forget.
Amazing car, surely the ultimate sports car !!
I’d speculate there’s a few enthusiasts who are very annoyed at that waiting list of 2-3 years.
Picture it, you’re a real car nutter like me, you just won Lottery and you’ve got $2m buring a hole in your pocket, you visit your Lamborgini dealer, place your 20% deposit and that’ll be Christmas 2014 Sir !!!
Cars don’t get much better than this!
What a weapon. Top three dream car that i’ll never be able to afford.
Christian Mastro of Lamborghini, you’re wrong.
..”So, at the very least, the Turbo S will crack 100km/h in 2.9 seconds and punch through the 320km/h barrier without breaking a sweat. In the UK, Porsche’s official acceleration figures have already been demolished on independent tests and it’s safe to say that the next generation Turbo models will push the performance envelope beyond what any of us thought possible”. – Kevin Hackett, CarAdvice, Oct 2010.
…and 2011 Nissan GT-R
“2011 Nissan GT-R 3.8-litre twin turbocharged V6 six-speed dual-clutch transmission 390kW/612Nm, 0-100km/h: 3.0 seconds, top speed: 311km/h – $168,800 (Manufacturer’s List Price) By Anthony Crawford | August 29th, 2011″
Ant…you have an amazingly sweet job! Car looks awesome and hopefully some lucky soul is able to buy one here so we can see it in the flesh.
On another note…Lamborghini seem to have some amazing technology in which it can swap the steering wheel from the left to right handside (14th pic down)
That’s because of the suspension setup and there’s no engine/gearbox in front.
Take a closer look at the pics…there are LHD and RHD versions at this drive day (hint: look closely at the centre console for the giveaway knob that proves they are different cars, not a reversed picture).
Ahh…fair enough! Curse my lazy eyes!
Sweet…can’t wait for mine to get delivered =)
Anthony, you guys have the BEST job in the world!!
Pretty nice, although it’s a shame the doors no longer swing straight up vertically
before this comments section degenerates too far into the “Yeah but the GTR can do this and that and it only costs blah blah blah…..” I wish to congratulate the reviewer on a well written and enjoyable read, well done!
Awesome car, stupid name.
Hey genius, so what do you suppose we should call it?
Hey pole smoker, go suckle yours mothers breast
HAHA! Maybe you wanted it named Aligator??
A magnificent car in its true environment, on the track!
Anyone who wants to drive this on the road, probably has the same same self image problems as the person who bought the horn from the last wild Javanese rhinocerous that was recently killed in Vietnam by poachers.
If you are not going to race the car then what’s the point?
I know I will get voted down, but I had to say it.
well you cant go to the track and race it everyday and all day. maybe you’ve got an Aventador and just wanna hit the road . it doesn’t have to be through the burbs. every city has some nice twisty roads where you don’t have to go 300kph to have some fun
If I ever win the raffle I’m going to buy 2, one for me to drive and one that I’m going to keep at a tack and let every car enthusiast have a free go for a little while as I believe that everyone who loves cars should have the opportunity to drive one of these once in their life.
Anybody need a kidney? I’ve got a spare….
It’s a nice touch putting the firing order on top of the engine cover but why? This is tough in Matt Black and it’s super low IRL.
Awesome car! As I’ve said before, I hope they reproduce this car in die-cast 1:18 size. It’ll be the only way I’ll ever be able to afford one.
And whats the bet that $754,600 is pre government and etc taxes….
Damnit i only have 753,500 lying around….
It’d be pre stamp duty and rego that’s it. Pity the stamp duty is over $30K
I’m thinking of buying one of these, but I can’t see anything about the towing capacity. Can you get a tow bar for these? I think it would drag the caravan along quite well as it seems to have enough power and torque. I’m also wondering about roof bars too, for the ski box.
Anyone have any information?
Exhaust gets in the way of tow bar, and putting chains on would be a bitch, stupid car
Umm. I hadn’t thought about the exhaust outlets. I’ll have to check that out. BTW, chains are required in NSW on AWD vehicles, so that isn’t an issue with this car. Perhaps the Porsche Panamera might be a better option for the caravan and ski box.
Should say chains are not required in NSW.
Thanks, you are correct, typo error from me or maybe it was the predictive text. AWD vehicles do not need chains in NSW. So how fast do you reckon I can do the 500km from Sydney to Thredbo? My record is 3h 40 mins in 1988 when you could use radar detectors. Now, it is about 5 hrs and a bit. Progress!
lol u r legend
Great news, this car looks amazing, recently many super cars are being launched in India, this Lamborghini is going to rank high among them.
Lamborghini great as always, but why white?! :/
could a p-plater drive this?
Nobody actually buys them outside your country? Hehehe, just go at American cars city. You will see than many Europeans will pay a astronomical price just to own on. There is a hype in Europe, but due
the import tax and gas price it’s more difficult.
llike who is going to buy this car this prise bill gates
