I love the smell of tyre just the way they are!!

>Austin they do make coloured tyres , if you look at concept in carshows. Also Pirelli make custom coloured tires in europe i believe!!

Realcars> why, I'm sure your ford/holden smells like that allready!!

Wingnut> The scented tyre are not aimed at burnouts!!
And why you bringing dingo in this, didn't he slap you around allready?!!

I think its a pointless exercise - in the same way trying to reason with Dingo and his variuos aliases is.

Because I very much doubt that real car enthusiasts with either expensive new performance cars be it an BMW M3; HSV Clubbie or even a fully restored Street Machine would do a burnout that often particularly if they really love their car..

I mean some motoring enthusiast look after their cars better than they do their partners

Burnouts are for Hoons who believe its the best way to show how much power their car has not realising the strain etc it puts you r car under not to mention what the burned rubber does to your panels and paintjob.
And as most Hoons drive older cars including Holdens Fords and Toyotas etc all with tacky home-job modifications I doubt that they could afford the 20% premium for these tyres

I'm wondering why people haven't been using different coloured tyres long before now (with the exception of white walled) surely its another fashion accessory some people might buy (though not me I must admit).

A couple of years ago Yokohama [I think it was] released a series of tyres with multi-coloured tread and were as popular as leprosy so I can't see these tyres doing any better.

Exactly Reckless seems we cant have any fun on this site anymore!

Finally a thread we could have fun on and Reckless and I get deleted for double s e x u a l meanings . Those with dirty minds only get anyway and get a giggle out of it! We weren’t being in any way insulting to each other or anyone else, surely the mention of fragrant rubber is enough of a joke to mention as a thread anyway!
